This study aims to examine the concept of Al-Wujuh wa an-Nazaʾir and its implications for the methodology of Qur’anic interpretation. The phenomenon of polysemy in Qur’anic Arabic necessitates a systematic approach to ensure that the meanings of lexical items are understood accurately and contextually. This research employs a qualitative method with a library research design, utilizing both linguistic and exegetical approaches. The findings indicate that Al-Wujuh wa anNazaʾir serves as a crucial instrument in understanding the semantic diversity of Qur’anic vocabulary, where a single word may carry multiple meanings depending on its context (al-wujuh), and different words may share similar meanings (annazaʾir). This concept plays a strategic role in preventing misinterpretation, assisting in determining the most appropriate meaning based on context (siyaq), and strengthening the linguistic approach in Qur’anic exegesis. Furthermore, this study highlights that integrating the classical concept of Al-Wujuh wa an-Nazaʾir with modern linguistic theories can produce a more comprehensive and relevant methodological framework for addressing contemporary challenges in Qur’anic interpretation.

این پژوهش با هدف بررسی مفهوم «الوجوه و النظائر» و پیامدهای آن برای روش‌شناسی تفسیر قرآن کریم انجام شده است. پدیده چندمعنایی در زبان عربی قرآن، نیازمند رویکردی نظام‌مند است تا معانی واژگان به‌درستی و بر اساس بافت فهمیده شوند. این تحقیق با روش کیفی و طرح پژوهش کتابخانه‌ای، از رویکردهای زبانی و تفسیری بهره گرفته است. یافته‌ها نشان می‌دهد که «الوجوه و النظائر» به‌عنوان ابزاری اساسی در فهم تنوع معنایی واژگان قرآنی عمل می‌کند؛ به‌گونه‌ای که یک واژه می‌تواند بسته به سیاق (الوجوه) معانی متعددی داشته باشد و واژگان مختلف می‌توانند معانی مشابهی داشته باشند (النظائر). این مفهوم نقش راهبردی در جلوگیری از تفسیر نادرست، یاری در تعیین معنای مناسب بر اساس سیاق و تقویت رویکرد زبانی در تفسیر قرآن ایفا می‌کند. افزون بر این، پژوهش حاضر نشان می‌دهد که ادغام مفهوم کلاسیک «الوجوه و النظائر» با نظریه‌های زبان‌شناسی معاصر می‌تواند چارچوب روش‌شناختی جامع‌تر و مرتبط‌تری برای مواجهه با چالش‌های معاصر تفسیر قرآن فراهم آورد.
