The aim of this study is to examine how burnout is correlated with caregiver burden among parents of physically disabled children. This study was conducted with cross-sectional and descriptive design. The study included 112 parents of physically disabled children who attended special education and rehabilitation centers. Data were collected using a Personal Information Form, the Maslach Burnout Inventory (MBI), and the Zarit Burden Interview (ZBI). The participants’ mean scores were 17.38±7.917 for the Emotional Exhaustion Subscale of the MBI, 21.03±4.505 for the Personal Accomplishment Subscale of the MBI, and 32.32±13.475 for the ZBI. A weak, positive, and significant correlation was found between the parents’ age and ZBI score (r = 0.216, p = 0.023). هدف این مطالعه بررسی چگونگی ارتباط فرسودگی شغلی با بار مراقبتی در والدین کودکان دارای ناتوانی جسمی است. این پژوهش با طرح مقطعی و توصیفی انجام شد. مطالعه حاضر شامل ۱۱۲ نفر از والدین کودکان دارای ناتوانی جسمی بود که به مراکز آموزش و توانبخشی ویژه مراجعه کرده بودند. داده‌ها با استفاده از فرم اطلاعات فردی، پرسشنامه فرسودگی شغلی ماسلاچ (MBI) و مصاحبه بار زاریت (ZBI) جمع‌آوری شد. میانگین نمرات شرکت‌کنندگان برای زیرمقیاس خستگی هیجانی پرسشنامه MBI برابر با ۱۷٫۳۸±۷٫۹۱۷، برای زیرمقیاس موفقیت فردی پرسشنامه MBI برابر با ۲۱٫۰۳±۴٫۵۰۵ و برای پرسشنامه ZBI برابر با ۳۲٫۳۲±۱۳٫۴۷۵ بود. بین سن والدین و نمره ZBI یک همبستگی ضعیف، مثبت و معنادار مشاهده شد (r = 0.216, p = 0.023). همچنین بین نمرات زیرمقیاس خستگی هیجانی پرسشنامه MBI و ZBI یک همبستگی متوسط، مثبت و معنادار وجود داشت (r=0.472, p
