This study examines the spatial disparities in educational development across the districts of Manipur through a comparative analysis of participation, infrastructure, and institutional efficiency indicators. Using district-level educational data, the study constructs three composite indices, namely Participation Index, Infrastructure Index, and Institutional Efficiency Index, to evaluate the relative performance of districts in the educational sector. Statistical techniques such as normalization, composite indexing, radar chart analysis, and bivariate scatter plots have been employed to identify patterns and interrelationships among the selected indicators. The findings reveal significant regional disparities between the valley and hill districts of Manipur. Districts such as Imphal West, Imphal East, Kakching, and Thoubal demonstrate comparatively higher levels of educational participation, infrastructural availability, and institutional efficiency. In contrast, districts including Pherzawl, Ukhrul, Kamjong, Noney, and Tengnoupal exhibit lower performances across most indicators, reflecting infrastructural deficiencies and weaker institutional support systems. The radar chart analysis highlights the multidimensional nature of educational inequality, while the bivariate scatter plots reveals positive relationships between participation and infrastructure with transition rates and Performance Grading Index scores. Conversely, dropout rates show a negative association with these indices, indicating that better educational infrastructure and participation contribute to improved retention and educational outcomes. The study underscores the importance of balanced infrastructural development and effective institutional mechanisms in reducing regional educational disparities. It suggests that targeted policy interventions in underperforming districts are essential for achieving inclusive and equitable educational development in Manipur.

این مطالعه به بررسی تفاوت‌های فضایی در توسعه آموزشی مناطق مختلف ایالت مانیپور از طریق تحلیل مقایسه‌ای شاخص‌های مشارکت، زیرساخت و کارآمدی نهادی می‌پردازد. با استفاده از داده‌های آموزشی سطح منطقه‌ای، سه شاخص ترکیبی شامل شاخص مشارکت، شاخص زیرساخت و شاخص کارآمدی نهادی ساخته شده‌اند تا عملکرد نسبی مناطق در بخش آموزش ارزیابی شود. تکنیک‌های آماری مانند نرمال‌سازی، شاخص‌گذاری ترکیبی، تحلیل نمودار راداری و نمودار پراکندگی دو متغیره برای شناسایی الگوها و روابط متقابل میان شاخص‌های منتخب به کار رفته‌اند. یافته‌ها نشان‌دهنده تفاوت‌های منطقه‌ای قابل توجه میان مناطق دره‌ای و کوهستانی مانیپور است. مناطقی مانند Imphal West، Imphal East، Kakching و Thoubal سطوح بالاتری از مشارکت آموزشی، دسترسی به زیرساخت و کارآمدی نهادی را نشان می‌دهند. در مقابل، مناطقی چون Pherzawl، Ukhrul، Kamjong، Noney و Tengnoupal در اغلب شاخص‌ها عملکرد پایین‌تری دارند که بیانگر کمبود زیرساخت و ضعف نظام‌های حمایتی نهادی است. تحلیل نمودار راداری ماهیت چندبعدی نابرابری آموزشی را برجسته می‌کند و نمودارهای پراکندگی دو متغیره نیز روابط مثبت میان مشارکت و زیرساخت با نرخ‌های گذار و امتیازات شاخص ارزیابی عملکرد را نشان می‌دهد. در مقابل، نرخ‌های ترک تحصیل با این شاخص‌ها رابطه منفی دارند که نشان می‌دهد زیرساخت آموزشی بهتر و مشارکت بیشتر به بهبود ماندگاری دانش‌آموزان و نتایج آموزشی منجر می‌شود. این مطالعه بر اهمیت توسعه متوازن زیرساختی و سازوکارهای نهادی مؤثر در کاهش نابرابری‌های منطقه‌ای آموزشی تأکید می‌کند و پیشنهاد می‌دهد مداخلات سیاستی هدفمند در مناطق کم‌عملکرد برای دستیابی به توسعه آموزشی فراگیر و عادلانه در مانیپور ضروری است.
