This study aims to analyze the bibliographic metadata characteristics of research on cancel culture in the context of Social Studies using a bibliometric approach. The research subjects include scholarly articles indexed in the Scopus database that discuss cancel culture relevant to Social Studies. The research method employed is bibliometric analysis using VOSviewer software to identify publication trends based on the aspects of Documents by Year, Documents by Subject Area, Documents by Country or Territory, and Documents by Funding Sponsor. The theories underlying this article encompass three main approaches: the theory of social construction and communication, the theory of power, and the theory of digital ethics. The findings indicate that publications on cancel culture in the context of Social Studies have increased significantly since 2020, peaking in 2024. The Social Sciences field is the most dominant discipline researching this topic, followed by Psychology as well as Business, Management, and Accounting. Geographically, research is dominated by the United States, Australia, Canada, and the Philippines. Meanwhile, research funding primarily comes from social sciences and humanities institutions, highlighting a greater focus on social and communication aspects rather than direct educational implications. This study recommends further exploration of the impact of cancel culture on Social Studies curricula, academic freedom, and digital ethics in education. Additionally, empirical research is needed to understand how students and educators respond to this phenomenon and to develop educational strategies based on digital literacy.

هدف این پژوهش، تحلیل ویژگی‌های فراداده‌های کتاب‌شناختی پژوهش‌ها درباره فرهنگ حذف در زمینه مطالعات اجتماعی با رویکرد بیبلیومتریک است. جامعه پژوهش شامل مقالات علمی نمایه‌شده در پایگاه داده Scopus است که به بحث درباره فرهنگ حذف مرتبط با مطالعات اجتماعی می‌پردازند. روش پژوهش، تحلیل بیبلیومتریک با استفاده از نرم‌افزار VOSviewer به منظور شناسایی روندهای انتشار بر اساس اسناد بر حسب سال، اسناد بر حسب حوزه موضوعی، اسناد بر حسب کشور یا قلمرو و اسناد بر حسب حامی مالی است. نظریه‌های زیربنایی این مقاله سه رویکرد اصلی را در بر می‌گیرد: نظریه ساخت اجتماعی و ارتباطات، نظریه قدرت و نظریه اخلاق دیجیتال. یافته‌ها نشان می‌دهد که انتشارات درباره فرهنگ حذف در زمینه مطالعات اجتماعی از سال ۲۰۲۰ به طور قابل توجهی افزایش یافته و در سال ۲۰۲۴ به اوج خود رسیده است. حوزه علوم اجتماعی غالب‌ترین رشته در پژوهش این موضوع است و پس از آن روان‌شناسی و همچنین مدیریت، کسب‌وکار و حسابداری قرار دارند. از نظر جغرافیایی، پژوهش‌ها عمدتاً توسط ایالات متحده آمریکا، استرالیا، کانادا و فیلیپین انجام شده است. همچنین، تأمین مالی پژوهش عمدتاً از سوی نهادهای علوم اجتماعی و علوم انسانی صورت می‌گیرد که نشان‌دهنده تمرکز بیشتر بر جنبه‌های اجتماعی و ارتباطی به جای پیامدهای مستقیم آموزشی است. این پژوهش پیشنهاد می‌کند تأثیر فرهنگ حذف بر برنامه‌های درسی مطالعات اجتماعی، آزادی علمی و اخلاق دیجیتال در آموزش بیشتر مورد بررسی قرار گیرد. همچنین، انجام پژوهش‌های تجربی برای درک واکنش دانشجویان و مدرسان به این پدیده و توسعه راهبردهای آموزشی مبتنی بر سواد دیجیتال ضروری است.
