Journal of African Cultural Studies

نشریه مطالعات فرهنگی آفریقا یک نشریه علمی-پژوهشی دوفصلنامه با داوری همتا است که به پژوهش در زمینه فرهنگ آفریقا می‌پردازد. این نشریه شامل موضوعاتی همچون ادبیات آفریقایی (اعم از مکتوب و شفاهی)، هنرهای نمایشی، هنرهای تجسمی، موسیقی، نقش رسانه‌ها، رابطه فرهنگ و قدرت، مسائل فرهنگ و جنسیت و موضوعات جامعه‌زبان‌شناسی مرتبط با فرهنگ می‌شود. این نشریه در سال ۱۹۸۸ با عنوان زبان‌ها و فرهنگ آفریقا تأسیس شد و در سال ۱۹۹۸ عنوان کنونی خود را دریافت کرد.

The Journal of African Cultural Studies is a biannual peer-reviewed academic journal covering research on African culture, including African literatures, both written and oral, performance arts, visual arts, music, the role of the media, the relationship between culture and power, culture and gender issues and sociolinguistic topics of cultural interest. It was established in 1988 as African Languages and Culture and obtained its current title in 1998.
