Twin Research and Human Genetics

نشریه Twin Research and Human Genetics یک مجله علمی داوری‌شده است که به صورت دوماهنامه توسط انتشارات Cambridge University Press منتشر می‌شود. این مجله، نشریه رسمی انجمن بین‌المللی مطالعات دوقلوها (International Society for Twin Studies - ISTS) و انجمن ژنتیک انسانی استرالیا (Human Genetics Society of Australasia) است. این نشریه به پژوهش‌های مرتبط با زیست‌شناسی و همه‌گیرشناسی دوقلوزایی، همچنین پژوهش‌های زیست‌پزشکی و رفتاری مبتنی بر دوقلوها و تحقیقات ژنتیک مولکولی می‌پردازد. بر اساس گزارش‌های استنادی مجلات (Journal Citation Reports)، این نشریه در سال ۲۰۱۸ دارای ضریب تأثیر ۱٫۱۵۹ بوده است. این مجله در سال ۱۹۹۸ تأسیس شده و توسط Robert Derom (۱۹۹۸–۱۹۹۹) و Nick Martin (۲۰۰۰ تاکنون) سردبیری شده است. عنوان این نشریه ترجمه‌ای از Acta Geneticae Medicae et Gemellologiae است که از سال ۱۹۵۲ تا ۱۹۷۸ ارگان رسمی کمیته دائمی کنگره‌های بین‌المللی ژنتیک انسانی و Società italiana di genetica medica و عنوان اصلی اولین نشریه ISTS بوده است.

Twin Research and Human Genetics is a peer-reviewed scientific journal published bimonthly by the Cambridge University Press. It is the official journal of the International Society for Twin Studies (ISTS) and the Human Genetics Society of Australasia. The journal covers research on the biology and epidemiology of twinning as well as biomedical and behavioral twin- and molecular-genetic research. According to the Journal Citation Reports, it has a 2018 impact factor of 1.159. The journal was established in 1998 and has been edited by Robert Derom (1998–1999), and Nick Martin (2000–present). The title is a translation of Acta Geneticae Medicae et Gemellologiae, from 1952 until 1978 the official organ of the Permanent Committee for the International Congresses of Human Genetics and Società italiana di genetica medica, the original title of the first journal of the ISTS.
