The dance piece “Luka Pulih” (Healing Wounds) is a contemporary dance work that explores the emotional experiences of individuals who have been bullied and subjected to social pressure from their surroundings. This work was created as an effort to visualize the psychological process of a person when facing adversity until they are able to rise again through inner strength. The purpose of this work is to convey the message about the impact of bullying on mental health and to describe the healing process as a form of courage and determination in living life. The creative method in this work includes the stages of idea gathering, movement exploration, concept formation, composition, and evaluation. The movements were developed from observations of human body expressions under emotional pressure, which were then processed into contemporary movements with varying dynamics. The accompanying music, makeup, and costumes were designed to reinforce the emotional character in each part of the work. The results of the creation show that the processing of movement, tempo dynamics, and changes in spatial composition are able to present a representation of the character's emotional transition from a phase of despair and indecision to a phase of awakening. Through the work “Luka Pulih”, the choreographer hopes that the audience can understand that the healing process from the experience of bullying requires time, acceptance, and determination. Artificial Intelligence in Mental Health Support: Opportunities, Applications, and Ethical Challenges

Zengchen Wang Lecture Notes in Education Psychology and Public Media, 2026, Vol. 155, Issue 1, pp. None https://doi.org/10.54254/2753-7048/2026.pe38327

Mental health conditions have become one of the most urgent public health challenges worldwide, affecting nearly one billion people and creating substantial social and economic burdens. Despite increasing demand for psychological services, barriers such as financial costs, shortages of mental health professionals, geographical inequalities, and social stigma prevent many individuals from receiving timely support. This paper examines the biological, psychological, and environmental factors contributing to mental disorders and evaluates the potential role of artificial intelligence (AI) conversational models in mental health support. It argues that AI cannot replace licensed clinicians but can serve as a complementary tool by improving accessibility, providing continuous communication, offering privacy, and delivering personalized psychoeducation. Particular attention is given to autism spectrum disorder (ASD), where AI's predictable communication style may support communication practice and reduce social pressure. The paper also discusses AI-assisted interventions based on cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and examines ethical challenges, including privacy, algorithmic bias, and clinical responsibility. Overall, responsible cooperation between AI technologies and healthcare professionals may improve the accessibility and effectiveness of future mental healthcare.

This study aims to explore in-depth how peer pressure on social media influences the digital behavior of senior high school students, as well as the extent to which self-control and spiritual autonomy play a role in responding to such conformity pressure. Employing a qualitative approach with a phenomenological design, data were collected through in-depth interviews with six students categorized into three typologies: failed mediation, resilience, and congruent/ideal. The results reveal a fundamental finding that conformity pressure in the digital space does not deterministically lead to delinquency or deviant behavior. The trajectory of behavior relies entirely on the strength of the individual's self-control. For students with a weak foundation of faith and self-regulation, peer pressure triggers engagement in toxic behaviors such as cyberbullying, driven by a desire for validation and the Fear of Missing Out (FOMO). Conversely, for students possessing robust self-control and spiritual awareness (muraqabah), this social pressure transforms into an opportunity to demonstrate integrity. They exhibit the mental courage to go against the tide and independently uphold moral principles. Practically, these findings imply the necessity of reconstructing the educational approaches utilized by parents and educators. Delivering religious values that are reduced to mere rigid prohibitions without room for dialogue has proven to be less effective; these fundamental religious doctrines must instead be maintained and contextualized with real, everyday case studies. This dialogical approach is essential to connect religious teachings with the critical logic of adolescents in order to strengthen their faith, thereby fostering a solid stance to navigate toxic social environments.

Investigating LLM-Powered Dissenting Minority Support in Power-Imbalanced Group Decision-Making: Counterargument and Mediation as Intervention Strategies

Soohwan Lee; Seoyeong Hwang; Mingyu Kim; D. S. Kim; Kyungho Lee Proceedings of the ACM on Human-Computer Interaction, 2026, Vol. 10, Issue 6, pp. 1-40 https://doi.org/10.1145/3816954

Minority viewpoints are often suppressed in power-imbalanced group decision-making due to social pressure to comply with the majority. To address this problem, we developed an LLM-powered dissenting minority support system that aimed to foster attention to minority views through either AI-generated counterarguments or AI-mediated messages. We conducted a mixed-method experiment with 96 participants in 24 groups, comparing minority members’ experiences across baseline, AI-counterargument, and AI-mediated message conditions. Our findings revealed a nuanced trade-off: AI-generated counterarguments fostered a more flexible atmosphere and enhanced satisfaction, while AI-mediated messaging increased minority participation but unexpectedly reduced their psychological safety. This research contributes empirical evidence on how different AI implementations affect group dynamics, identifies a critical support paradox between participation and psychological safety, provides design implications for future systems, and highlights ethical challenges in implementing AI-mediated communication in hierarchical settings. These insights advance understanding of designing more equitable AI support for power-imbalanced group decision-making.
