چکیده

Background: Fresh graduates face an increasingly difficult school-to-work transition, while artificial intelligence (AI) has become a routine study and job-search companion; yet how the intention to use AI translates into employability, and through which mechanisms, remains unclear. Objective: Grounded in Social Cognitive Theory, this study tests whether behavioral intention to use AI is associated with self-perceived graduate employability directly and indirectly through career adaptability and job search self-efficacy, and whether AI self-efficacy and AI trust moderate these paths. Methods: A cross-sectional online survey of 612 Indonesian fresh graduates who use AI for career preparation was analyzed with partial least squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM). Results: AI use intention positively predicted career adaptability (β = 0.305) and job search self-efficacy (β = 0.249), and both resources predicted self-perceived employability. The indirect paths through both resources were significant, and a direct effect of AI use intention on employability remained, indicating partial mediation. AI self-efficacy and AI trust showed significant main effects on their resources, while the interaction-related indirect effects were not significant. Conclusion: AI use intention is associated with self-perceived employability through career adaptability and job search self-efficacy. The cross-sectional findings do not establish causality. Educational institutions and career-service units may use these findings to inform structured AI-supported occupational exploration, skills-gap analysis, résumé refinement, and interview rehearsal, while encouraging critical verification of AI outputs.

DIGITAL FINANCIAL LEARNING ECOSYSTEM QUALITY AND FINTECH CAREER READINESS: EVIDENCE FROM VIETNAMESE BUSINESS STUDENTS

Thi Thu Trang Nguyen; Nguyen Hong Van Financial and credit activity problems of theory and practice, 2026, Vol. 5, Issue 70, pp. 561-577 https://doi.org/10.55643/fcaptp.5.70.2026.5297

چکیده

Universities preparing graduates for technology-enabled financial services need to understand how digital learning conditions relate to students’ career readiness. This study examines the associations of university-based Digital Financial Learning Ecosystem Quality with perceived FinTech Career Readiness among Vietnamese business students. Drawing on Social Cognitive Theory and Social Cognitive Career Theory, ecosystem quality is modelled as a reflective–formative higher-order construct comprising Digital Academic Support, the Digital Learning Environment, and Digital Teaching Innovation. Cross-sectional survey data from 341 students recruited through nonprobability convenience sampling via networks centred on northern Vietnam were analysed using partial least squares structural equation modelling and a disjoint two-stage procedure. All three ecosystem dimensions made significant formative contributions, with the digital learning environment showing the largest estimated weight. Higher ecosystem quality was positively associated with self-efficacy and learning motivation, and self-efficacy was positively associated with motivation. Motivation and career orientation were positively associated with perceived readiness, with motivation having the larger estimated direct coefficient. Career orientation showed no significant additional association with motivation after accounting for ecosystem quality and self-efficacy. Ecosystem quality was indirectly associated with readiness through motivation and through the sequential pathway involving self-efficacy and motivation. The model explained 41.5% of the variance in perceived readiness. The study contributes an integrated operationalisation of university-based digital financial learning quality and distinguishes learning-related associations from those of career orientation. The findings inform potential priorities for coordinating digital platforms, relevant financial content, academic support, practical learning, and competency-based career guidance. For universities and financial institutions, the study offers evidence to guide collaboration on graduate preparation and a foundation for evaluating how perceived readiness relates to demonstrated workplace competence.

The mediating role of internal quality assurance cells in the relationship between university–industry collaboration and graduate employability outcomes

Md. Mohidul Islam; Md. Jafor Ali; Imrose Afrine; Mohammad Sahabuddin; Mahbuba Sarker Shama Discover Education, 2026, Vol. 5, Issue 1, pp. 1280 https://doi.org/10.1007/s44217-026-02302-2

چکیده

Graduate employability Outcomes (GEO) is a crucial issue in emerging countries, where skill gaps and unemployment among university graduates are consistently rising. In this context, higher education institutions (HEIs) play a pivotal role in developing a strategic approach to fill the gap through collaboration between academia and industry. Nowadays, every higher education institution in emerging countries has an internal quality assurance cell (IQAC), and they play a critical role in ensuring continuous improvement, stakeholder engagement, and curriculum development. However, despite the growing relevance of this issue, limited empirical studies have been conducted on the mediating role of IQAC in the relationship between industry and academia for confirming graduate employability in an emerging economy, like Bangladesh. The purpose of this study is to examine the mediating role of IQAC, including university curriculum (UC), job scholars’ opportunities (JSO), on the association between university-industry collaboration (UIC), and university GEO in Bangladesh, using partial least squares structural equation modelling (PLS-SEM) under the quantitative research approach. Data were collected using a structured questionnaire from university graduates, faculty members, and administrative staff. The empirical evidence reveals that UIC significantly contributes to GEO; moreover, IQAC plays a substantial mediating role, including UC and JSO. The findings of the study offer practical contributions for higher educational institutions (HEIs), policymakers, and industry experts to continuously improve graduate employability outcomes, such as practical competencies, skills development, and job readiness.

Technological Self- Efficacy and Classroom Technology Use of Early Childhood Teachers

Ame Roxan Awid; Jolina Balmocena; Riza Cadayday; Maria Ruby Mae Palomar; Carmelito Sojor; Jonah Mavel Velez International Journal of Education, Research, and Innovation Perspectives, 2026, Vol. 2, Issue 10 https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.23841216

چکیده

This study examined technological self-efficacy and classroom technology use among early childhood teachers at Cabangahan Elementary School, Siaton, Negros Oriental. Employing a quantitative descriptive-correlational design, the researchers collected self-reported data from five teachers using an expert-reviewed, Google Forms questionnaire. Descriptive frequencies, percentages, and five-point weighted means were used to characterize teachers’ profiles, basic technology skills, confidence in pedagogical integration, troubleshooting ability, frequency of technology use, diversity of digital tools, and perceived effects on children’s learning and engagement. The reported mean scores were 4.56 for basic technology skills, 4.56 for pedagogical integration, and 4.52 for technical troubleshooting, all interpreted as highly confident. Classroom technology use was rated 4.60 for frequency, 4.16 for diversity of tools, and 4.76 for perceived learning engagement. The study reported a very strong positive Pearson correlation between self-efficacy and classroom technology implementation (r = .94); no corresponding significance test was provided. Results suggest that the participating teachers perceived themselves as technologically capable and frequent users of digital resources, although the range of tools used was comparatively limited. The proposed action plan prioritizes device access, technical support, targeted professional learning, and classroom monitoring. Given the five-person, single-school sample and reliance on self-report, the findings should be interpreted as local descriptive evidence, not as proof of causal effects on children’s outcomes.

چکیده

Social capital represents a relational resource developed through trust, professional networks, collaboration, peer support, and knowledge exchange. In the context of Social Studies Education, social capital can support teachers in accessing information, experiences, and professional resources relevant to professional development and instructional planning. This study aims to analyze the conceptualization of teachers’ social capital, identify its dimensions in relation to teacher professionalism, and examine its relevance to Social Studies teaching practices and instructional planning. The study employs a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach guided by the PRISMA 2020 framework. The literature analyzed consists of scholarly publications published between 2023 and 2026 in Indonesian and English that met the established inclusion criteria. The data were analyzed through thematic synthesis based on conceptual dimensions, forms of professional relationships, and their contributions to teaching practices. The synthesis indicates that social capital facilitates teachers’ access to information, experiences, feedback, and professional support through networks and collaborative relationships. These resources can strengthen professional learning and pedagogical decision-making relevant to Social Studies instructional planning. However, empirical evidence directly linking teachers’ social capital to the quality of Social Studies instructional planning remains limited. These findings highlight the need for further research on how social capital can be translated into improvements in the quality of Social Studies instructional planning components.

The Impact of Tamil Translations on Arabic Language Acquisition among Tamil-Speaking Learners in Sri Lanka: An Analytical Study

HLM. Mohideen; Mohideen Abdul Kadir K J Lisanul Arab Journal of Arabic Learning and Teaching, 2026, Vol. 15, Issue 2, pp. 167-176 https://doi.org/10.15294/laa.v15i2.65421

چکیده

Tamil translations may facilitate Arabic language acquisition among Tamil-speaking learners in Sri Lanka; however, their effectiveness as a learning resource requires further examination. This research aims to analyse the contribution of Tamil translations to Arabic language learning, assess their role in improving vocabulary comprehension, and identify the strategies and challenges associated with their use. A descriptive-analytical approach was adopted, with a questionnaire comprising 20 questions across nine thematic areas administered to students learning Arabic at government universities in Sri Lanka. The findings indicate that translated books serve as valuable supplementary resources, particularly in clarifying unfamiliar vocabulary and facilitating the comprehension of Arabic texts. Learners demonstrate considerable confidence in translated materials and compare them with original Arabic texts only to a limited extent. Furthermore, the findings report a 97% correspondence rate between translated lexical equivalents and source-language words. Translators reportedly employ a combination of literal, interpretive, abridged, and adaptive translation strategies to address linguistic and semantic challenges. These findings highlight the pedagogical potential of Tamil translations in supporting Arabic language acquisition. The research recommends improving translation quality, developing bilingual educational resources, and integrating translated materials with original Arabic texts to enhance learners’ linguistic competence and promote effective Arabic language learning in Sri Lanka.
