Purpose: This study examines the historical development of Qur'anic exegesis (Tafsir), the formation of scholarly and ethical qualifications for the mufassir, and women's contributions to Qur'anic interpretation. It addresses a gap in studies that commonly treat the historical evolution of Tafsir, exegetical qualifications, and women's contributions as separate themes. Design/methodology/approach: The study employs a qualitative design combining historical and descriptive-analytical approaches. Primary sources include classical works of Qur'anic sciences and Tafsir, particularly al-Itqān by al-Suyuti and al-Burhān by al-Zarkashi, complemented by contemporary academic literature. Data were collected through library research and literature review and analyzed using content analysis and critical comparison. Findings: The analysis identifies five broad stages in the development of Tafsir, showing a transition from transmitted explanations in the Prophetic and early generations to more systematic analysis, codification, and diverse exegetical approaches. This development contributed to the formulation of scientific and ethical qualifications for mufassirs, including mastery of Arabic and related Islamic sciences, methodological competence, sound belief, intellectual rigor, and freedom from personal bias. The study also identifies sustained contributions by women exegetes across historical periods, demonstrating women's participation in the development of Tafsir. Research implications/limitations: The findings provide a reference for Qur'anic studies curricula and methodological discussions concerning responsible interpretation. The study is limited to a general historical overview and selected representative sources rather than an exhaustive comparison of all exegetical schools. Originality/value: The study offers an integrated analytical perspective linking Tafsir's historical evolution, mufassir qualifications, and women's contributions within a single methodological framework.

هدف: این پژوهش به بررسی سیر تاریخی تفسیر قرآن، شکل‌گیری شرایط علمی و اخلاقی مفسر و نقش زنان در تفسیر قرآن می‌پردازد. این مطالعه به خلأیی پاسخ می‌دهد که در آن معمولاً تحول تاریخی تفسیر، شرایط مفسر و نقش زنان به عنوان موضوعاتی مجزا بررسی می‌شوند. روش/رویکرد پژوهش: این پژوهش با رویکرد کیفی و با ترکیب روش‌های تاریخی و توصیفی-تحلیلی انجام شده است. منابع اصلی شامل آثار کلاسیک علوم قرآنی و تفسیری، به ویژه الاتقان اثر سیوطی و البرهان اثر زرکشی، و همچنین ادبیات دانشگاهی معاصر است. داده‌ها از طریق پژوهش کتابخانه‌ای و مرور متون گردآوری و با استفاده از تحلیل محتوا و مقایسه انتقادی تحلیل شده‌اند. یافته‌ها: تحلیل انجام‌شده پنج مرحله کلی در تحول تفسیر را شناسایی می‌کند که گذار از تبیین‌های نقلی در عصر پیامبر و نسل‌های نخستین به تحلیل نظام‌مندتر، تدوین و رویکردهای تفسیری متنوع را نشان می‌دهد. این تحول به تدوین شرایط علمی و اخلاقی مفسر، از جمله تسلط بر زبان عربی و علوم اسلامی مرتبط، توانمندی روشی، اعتقاد صحیح، دقت فکری و رهایی از تعصب شخصی انجامیده است. همچنین پژوهش به نقش مستمر زنان مفسر در دوره‌های تاریخی مختلف اشاره دارد و مشارکت زنان در تحول تفسیر را نشان می‌دهد. پیامدها/محدودیت‌های پژوهش: یافته‌ها می‌تواند به عنوان مرجع برای برنامه‌های درسی مطالعات قرآنی و مباحث روشی درباره تفسیر مسئولانه مورد استفاده قرار گیرد. این پژوهش به مرور تاریخی کلی و منابع منتخب نماینده محدود است و مقایسه جامع همه مکاتب تفسیری را دربرنمی‌گیرد. اصالت/ارزش: این پژوهش با ارائه دیدگاهی تحلیلی و یکپارچه، تحول تاریخی تفسیر، شرایط مفسر و نقش زنان را در یک چارچوب روشی واحد پیوند می‌دهد.
